How it is computed
- 1Annual amountFor each year I show the amount from 1 January. In 2023 and 2024 it rose twice (January and July), so the table also gives the July amount. Change over a period is measured January to January.
- 2Employer costOn top of gross pay I add employer contributions: pension 9.76 %, disability 6.5 %, accident insurance (1.67 %, 1.80 % until 2018), Labour and Solidarity Fund 2.45 % and the guaranteed benefits fund 0.1 %. PPK is excluded, as it depends on the employee.
- 3Real growthReal growth is nominal growth divided by cumulative CPI inflation over the same period. It shows how much more the minimum wage buys.
